“If this was such a "good fight," then why are you selling the "good word" for $29.95? Isn’t money the root of all evil? If you were so concerned about this "fight" then you’d disseminate the information for FREE, or at least for the cost of the video tape (like 5 bucks, maybe). Your exposés make me laugh, you guys have your [inappropriate comment removed] its hilarious. Can you explain to me why Christian groups and musicians use "tri-tones" in their writing? Tri-tones are "the devil’s work" and supposedly summon Satan himself. That’s a bit ironic, huh? All the "satanic" verses you quote in your exposés isn’t satan worshipping, its called MARKETING. Like exactly what you are trying to do with your $30 video. Quit trying to bilk god-loving people out of their money [with] your witch hunts. If you care SO much, do it for free…that’s the way Jesus would do it. Satan would try to sell it for for $29.95 plus $6.95 s/h. Hey, wait a second…. -Raybus”
Good Fight’s Response:
The correct reading of the verse you misquoted is:
"for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows" –1 Timothy 6:10
The context of this verse speaks of those who desire to be rich, thus forsaking the pursuit of godliness.
Your second error is your attempt to apply this verse to Fight the Good Fight Ministries. The donation of $29.95 is to hopefully help offset the $100,000 price tag that was invested, by church members and other donations, into this project (They Sold Their Souls for Rock n Roll). Our heart’s desire is for many to see the many "artists" for who they really are, as well as the real agenda behind them and what they themselves promote. Simply read/view a few exposés and you can see that we emphasize godliness by exposing the various ungodly lyrics, religious practices, lifestyles, etc. of these "artists."
Once again you are in error of accusing us of not offering the information for "FREE," as you’ll find a link here to a majority of the 10 hour DVD for online viewing – free of charge.

The following question came into Good Fight Ministries from “Laura” concerning the same issue of “charging for our products”. Here was our response:
Hello Laura,
Thank you for contacting us. Your question is a fair one and one we do not mind answering. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry, which means that all funds that come into the ministry, whether by donation or product purchases, go directly back into the ministry in order to produce more resources. As for free resources, we have several websites which provide information for free, as well as many, many free videos on our official YouTube channel as well as in our Theater.
We consider this ministry to be similar to that of a pastor of a church. We assume you attend a church…does your pastor earn a salary? It is no doubt NOT the intention of your pastor to “get rich.” It is to pay for common expenses. (We are aware that *some* pastors earn WAY too much money, but we are referring to the average pastor.)
As a ministry of our type, we have common expenses involved in producing the types of materials we do. That is what the funds are used for. Manufacturing is not free, hiring someone to edit videos is not free, shipping products is not free, etc. (see also 1 Timothy 5:18 or Luke 10:7). Similarly, paying for a church building is not free, nor electricity, a pastor, a church administrator, etc.
Please know that we do not charge simply for the sake of charging to “make a ton of money,” rather it is to keep the ministry functioning so we can continue to do the work that the Lord has called us to. It is through much prayer that we do what we do, and we believe that the Lord is the ultimate authority in our work. It is not something we take lightly and we continuously seek Him and His guidance in everything that we do, including the handling of finances.
We hope this helps answer your question satisfactorily. God bless.
