Marilyn Manson’s biography, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, would have been more appropriately titled, The Long Greased Pole Into Hell! Even those of a more liberal persuasion, like Senator Joseph Lieberman, have declared Marilyn Manson to be “perhaps the sickest group ever promoted by a mainstream record company.” Indeed, popular music of today has become so evil that if a hardened criminal from merely 50 years ago was transported into the 21st century, he would blush at its contents. Marilyn Manson’s music represents the worst in music. It represents an insatiable lust for power and fleshly indulgences with no thought of the carnage it leaves in its insidious wake. We can see how far modern culture has plunged down the slippery slopes of relativism when serial killers are deluged with letters from women who want to marry them and have their babies. We also see this phenomena when there are serial killer T-shirts worn by artists, like Axl Rose, and serial killer trading cards. Of course, another telltale sign that we are in the last days is when artists with names like Marilyn Manson make it big. Who would have predicted that many of the world’s most popular artists would be glorifying serial killers and the mainstream medium would give them their pulpits to corrupt our youth. God’s word speaks of a time when people would be calling evil good and good evil. We have certainly entered such a time.
Manson has declared, “I perceive decadence and ‘evil’…as a good thing.” Perhaps the most troubling thing about Marilyn Manson is that he knows what he is doing. He fully realizes that he is leading his highly impressionable fan base to destruction. Marilyn Manson is not so much an ignorant puppet as he is a willing pawn in Satan’s end time strategy. Manson claims that to “abuse other people” is in reality “not such a bad thing.” This article will cut through all the doubletalk whereby Manson confuses his fan base and the media and will uncover the essence of what Marilyn Manson is really about. We can thank God that the gig is already up and that many of Manson’s fans have seen through the deception and escaped his smothering death grip upon their lives. Sadly though, many others are still bound by his diabolical allure, but are crying out deep down for deliverance from their enslavement. It is our hope and prayer that this article will be used greatly in setting free those who have been entrapped and have lost their identity to Marilyn Manson. It is no secret that Manson has led much of his fan base into blind acceptance of evil. Manson has shrouded his Satanism in the lie that a destructive lifestyle leads to liberation. The utterly deplorable incoherence of such argumentation is wholly absurd and illogical to say the very least. As already stated, Manson is aware of what he is doing, but he is in need of at least the skin of a philosophy so that those he is deceiving may feel that they have something to hang their depravity on.
Sadly, many of his fans have blindly gobbled up this lie hook, line and sinker and have found out too late that they have been deceived. Manson has spoken of his use of magic powers “to allure people.” Manson has described some of his music as “a clever piece of cheese on a rattrap.” If you are a Manson fan, it is apparent that he views you as the rat and his music as the deceptive bait whereby he is leading you to destruction. While Marilyn Manson remains an enigma to many, his façade has been utterly shattered by those who know the truth. Marilyn Manson, formerly named Brian Warner, declared that his objective is to “win” the “confidence” of his fans and after he “wins their confidence,” he “uses it to destroy them.” Dear reader, Manson does indeed know what he is doing and he is even telling you. Manson delights in the practice of being sinister, as well as obvious. He delights in being obvious when it exposes the frailty of his fans that he believes are so gullible that they are willingly deceived. Marilyn Manson is an official minister of the Church of Satan. Manson is hell bent on evil and is so filled with bitterness and anger toward the creator, God, and others, that he aspires to take as many people as possible with him down the greased pole to destruction! Brian Warner took the first name of a well-known glamour queen (Marilyn Monroe) and the last name of an infamous serial killer (Charles Manson) to come up with the name Marilyn Manson. Other members of the band followed suit and chose similar names i.e., Daisy Berkowitz, Twiggy Ramirez, Madonna, Wayne Gacy, Sara Lee Lucas, etc. It was not enough, though, that the last names chosen were those of serial killers, but the names adopted are usually from serial killers associated with Satanism, child molestation or both. Our world has become so jaded and desensitized to evil that what would have been considered unbelievable only a few decades ago is now mainstream today. The fact that a man as perverted as Manson could celebrate serial killers and thereby glorify child molesters, murderers and Satanists and still attract a massive fan base shows us just how far modern culture has gone down the greased pole to hell as well. Governor Frank Keating of Oklahoma hit the nail on the head when he declared that Marilyn Manson is “further proof that society’s moral values continue to crumble.” Brian Warner states that another reason he chose the name Marilyn Manson was:
“As a performer, I wanted to be the loudest, most persistent alarm clock I could be, because there didn’t seem like any other way to snap society out of its Christianity…. Manson: Minister of Satan
For those who would be deluded into believing that Manson’s Satanism is simply an act to outrage, it is important to understand that his descent into Satanism took place long before he became a shock rocker. In Manson’s childhood, his inner hatred and rage toward God fermented into his embracing of blatant Satanism. Satan used this hatred to blind Manson’s mind to the truth and led Manson into being conformed to many of the teachings of Anton LaVey, who led the Church of Satan until his death just before Halloween in 1997. Manson would in time meet his diabolical hero and end up becoming a minister in the Church of Satan himself. Manson exclaimed:

After LaVey got to know Manson and saw that they shared the common interest of glorifying Satan and blaspheming God, LaVey gave Manson a crimson card that certified him as a minister in the Church of Satan.
Manson said:
“Near the end of our visit, he said, ‘I want to make you a Reverend,’ and gave me a crimson card certifying me as a minister in the Church of Satan…It was also LaVey’s way of passing down the torch…As I left, LaVey put a bony hand on my shoulder, and, as it lay there coldly, he said, ‘You’re gonna make a big dent. The fact that Marilyn Manson is indeed influencing young and impressionable youth is admitted by his admirers, including Gavin Baddeley, who himself is a member of the church of Satan and apologist for Satanism. Baddeley acknowledges that the church of Satan has enjoyed recruits and sales of the satanic bible through Marilyn Manson’s proselytizing:
“The church of Satan is a radical non-conformist movement communicating solely through ideas – some of them expressed, subtly and otherwise, through the music and performance of Marilyn Manson…the church of Satan was enjoying a raised profile and improved sales of LaVey’s Satanic Bible” –Gavin Baddeley, Dissecting Marilyn Manson (UK: Plexus Publishing, 2000)
Phony Or For Real?
One of the delusions that we will clear up at the outset of this exposé is the lie that Marilyn Manson is a phony and not truly a Satanist. This lie purports that like Anton LaVey, who founded the Church of Satan, Manson merely views Satan as a metaphor but not as a real entity. First of all, it should be understood that LaVey himself viewed Satan as a true entity that he worshipped before his death. Anton LaVey deceived a lot of people who joined the Church of Satan by claiming that Satan only represented the repressed forces of nature but was not a real entity. In my interviews with former Charles Manson family member Susan Atkins, who is still in prison after being convicted of eight murders, Atkins blew the lid off of Anton’s lie. As a former associate of Anton LaVey’s, who danced for him and spent personal time with him before joining the Manson family, Atkins was privy to conversations with LaVey before he became popular. Atkins told me repeatedly that while LaVey promotes a watered down palatable form of Satanism to the ignorant masses which he is deceiving, he acknowledged the exact opposite to her and to his inner core of Satanists in the church of Satan. Susan Atkins told me that LaVey told her emphatically in his home that they truly worshipped Satan as a real entity and as the one who began the initial rebellion against God. Atkins also stated:

We have pictures of Atkins with LaVey in his ritual chamber when she associated with the Church of Satan. LaVey was aware that few people were ignorant enough to truly turn their lives over to Satan, knowing that they would not only be allowing themselves to be deceived by their worst enemy, but that they would spend eternity in the fiery torments of hell. LaVey, therefore, presented a seeker sensitive, user-friendly form of Satanism in the hope that it might appeal to the masses he was seeking to deceive. LaVey sought to put a spin on Satanism as a kinder and gentler form of Devil worship claiming that Satan merely represents a force in nature and that rather than Satanists sacrificing animals and little children, they are animal activists who love children. All of this was done to garner unwitting recruits. For starters, one should never trust a Satanist. Satanists view lying to be among their highest virtues as do true Christians truth. LaVey and other Satanists serve the one who Jesus repudiated as “The father of lies” (John 8:44). It would be just like the father of lies to cloak his religion in non-reality. Satan has long been about deception and has successfully deceived many recruits into believing that they are simply worshipping a symbol and not a reality. Satan relishes in such ignorance. Atkins’ testimony that LaVey was deliberately duping Satanists in the outer circle is corroborated by evidence from LaVey’s own admissions. LaVey let his guard down when responding to other Satanists that considered him “not extreme enough.” LaVey, while in a defensive mode, admitted that the image that he presented publicly was deceptive, declaring:
“If they’re at all intelligent [other true Satanists] …they’ll realize that there’s only so much I can say publicly…I will not advance things in print which make my position untenable…How long would the Church of Satan have lasted if I hadn’t appeased and outraged in just the right combination? It required a certain amount of discretion and diplomacy to balance the outrage.” –Anton LaVey, Lucifer Rising, p. 133
Purposeful deception is needed among leading Satanists to enslave those who they recruit as unscrupulous and unsuspecting pawns who feel more comfortable believing Satan is a symbol for force. Few Satanists realize the evil intentions among the inner core of Satanists and how they view lower initiates as mere puppets to be used and later discarded. Those in the higher echelon of the movement are often aware of the nature of Satan and the demonic realm that they serve, however, they are often bound and blinded on another level because they have become addicted to the power that Satan promises and self deluded as to how serious their eternal damnation will really be. Kenneth Anger, who was a cofounder of the Church of Satan with Anton LaVey, used a similar spin on Satanism, as did LaVey. Kenneth Anger stated in the 1960’s, in his film Lucifer Rising, “Lucifer is the light god, not the devil” (from the jacket of the film Lucifer Rising). This delusion that Lucifer is really the God of light and not Satan should not surprise us, as God’s word warns that Satan himself “masquerades” as an “angel of light” to draw the unsuspecting into his evil web and that his agents do the same:
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. … Their end will be what their actions deserve.” –2 Corinthians 11:14-15

Thus, Marilyn Manson has been recruiting members to the church of Satan under the auspices that Satan is not a real entity and that Satanism is really only another philosophy, when in reality, as we have seen, its own founders (LaVey and Anger) have acknowledged that they are truly serving Satan, the prince of darkness.
Charles Manson, whom Marilyn Manson cites as one of his preeminent inspirations and a brilliant philosopher, has stated, “Jesus Christ is for real and so is that other guy [i.e. Satan].” Charles Manson knows that Satan, whom he serves, is a real entity and has been at times more candid and honest than his disciple, Marilyn Manson. Dear reader, if you have been deceived by any of the aforementioned Satanists, we plead with you to recognize the magnitude of the deception at hand. We plead with you to recognize that which is obvious to all of us who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Jesus Christ promised that he would not cast out any that would come to Him. (John 6:37) Turn to him now before it is too late. Your life is very short and Satan is playing for keeps, and your soul is his prey. Wake up and turn from these demonic parasites that prey upon your soul and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who loves you and died for your sins so you would not have to go to hell.
Blind Faith
Brian Warner, from a very young age, desired darkness and satanic power above all else. Manson admitted that when he was only a child, he was excited at the prospect of Satan contacting him:
“My mom use to tell me when I was a kid, ‘if you curse at night time, the Devil’s going to come to you when you’re sleeping.’ I use to get excited because I really wanted it to happen…I wanted it, I wanted it more than anything.” –Rolling Stone Magazine
From his early childhood, Manson craved attention and even desired to be worshipped. He identified not with the Savior, but with Satan the arch traitor:

Even though Manson had attended Heritage Christian School in Canton, Ohio, it did him little good as he saw in many of the students the same hypocrisy that was his own. Manson’s parents moved near Fort Lauderdale, Florida where Warner ended up in public school. It was there that the worldly enticements that he said he was protected from in a conservative Christian School met him head on:
“Christian school…defined the taboos, then held them away at arms length, leaving me reaching for them in vain. As soon as I switched schools, it was all there for the taking – sex, drugs, rock, the occult. I didn’t even have to look for them: They found me.”
Manson found in the rock music that he was listening to, a manifestation of the satanic spirit that he identified with in his rebellion. A musical manifestation of Satanic power that became a haven as well a catalyst for his own rebellion:
“I began to appreciate music as…a place where I could be accepted, a place with no rules and no judgments.”
Warner, a man of an exceptionally thin constitution, described himself as a teenager as “a weakling, a worm” who craved acceptance by his peers. Marilyn Manson basically followed in Charles Manson’s footsteps, who at 5’2” had a small man’s complex and felt the necessity to bully and manipulate others in order to feel important. As a teenager, Manson so desired fame and power that he contemplated selling his soul to Satan:
“As a teenager, I was very interested in selling my soul…I see the apocalypse and the destruction of Christianity as giving people back to themselves so they can wake up and realize that they have the ability to be their own God and their own devil…Which is all Satanism is.”

It was through the environment of this music and the government school system that Warner ended up opening himself up to Satanism. Manson witnessed the brother of one of his school friends take a knife to his body and gather the blood from the self-inflicted wounds. He then witnessed him use the blood as an offering to Satan in a satanic ritual as he called upon the names of various demons for power. Manson recognized that he could invoke Satan’s power and enjoy the fame that he so craved among his peers.
“I could use black magic to turn the lowly lot life had given me around – to attain a position of power that other people would envy and accomplish things that other people couldn’t.”
As Manson continued through his teenage years, he began to immerse himself in occultic teachings and practices in a desire to acquire satanic powers. Manson admits that he grew up on the teachings of Satanists Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey. (The Black Flame, Volume 6, Numbers 1 & 2) Manson so adored Satanist Aleister Crowley, who had admitted sacrificing several children to Satan over his lifetime, that he desired to be like Aleister Crowley:
“I knew I wanted to be like Nietzsche or Aleister Crowley – men who have, in their own way, drawn people closer to the apocalypse.”
Apparently, the evil spirit realm had found in Brian Warner a pawn that was totally embittered toward God and Christianity and deemed that Warner would fit into their plans of drawing millions of young people away from Christ into Satanism. Satan began giving Manson a series of dreams to steer him toward his desired goal:
“Since I was about sixteen, I’ve had really intense dreams…and in my dreams I’d always be trying to find out who [the Antichrist] was going to be. Then at one point I saw myself…So I hope that each time Antichrist is played [one of his LP’s], it brings people closer to the end of the world…”
Manson, who in a moment of weakness was introduced to more and more Satanism through heavy metal music, now uses the same formula that Satan used to capture his soul to capture the souls of weak individuals lacking in spiritual discernment. Manson now uses the medium of music as a tool to indoctrinate the masses and infect them with the power of darkness.
Manson and Manson
Marilyn Manson first became infatuated with Charles Manson when he listened to his album Lie as a teenager. Marilyn Manson fell into such awe of Charles Manson as an artist, that he declared,
“I think Charles Manson is the greatest rock star of all time. He was all about music. He never even had to have a hit and he’s one of the biggest stars that you could ever find.”

“We totally got scared and we’re like, ‘We are done for the night.’…There’s no real logical or technological explanation for why they appeared. It was a truly supernatural moment that freaked me out.”
Manson is obviously dealing with evil forces that he himself does not understand. Manson stated that words like “why did the child reach out and kill his mom and dad” would suddenly and inexplicably appear in the mix of the song, Wrapped in Plastic. The same demons that used Charles Manson to destroy so many souls, including those of his followers, are now using Marilyn Manson to destroy the souls of his followers. Ironically, Marilyn Manson was influenced by the music of Charles Manson and now influences his fans the way Charles Manson influenced the youngsters that made up his murderous family. Charles Tex Watson, who was Charles Manson’s right hand man and responsible for most of the blood that was shed in the Manson family murders, warned that Marilyn Manson is now bringing “the [Charles] Manson madness into the hearts and minds of millions.” Watson escaped the spell of Manson and turned to Jesus Christ before it was too late. Sadly, millions have not yet seen through the delusion of Marilyn Manson. In my interviews with Susan Atkins, who is the most notorious of the former family members, she told me that Charles Manson brainwashed and desensitized Manson family members with his music. Susan Atkins told me that Charles Manson gave her his song, Cease to Exist, as a mantra that she was to repeat over and over again. The idea was that she was to repeatedly sing Cease to Exist and thereby die to her ego and give herself over totally to Charles Manson and his will, which she eventually did by participating in the murder of several people, including Sharon Tate. The Beach Boys would end up taking Charles Manson’s song “Cease to Exist,” changing the title of the song to “Never Learn Not to Live” and changing the words “cease to exist” to “cease to resist” and putting it on their 20/20 album. Indeed, many are aware that Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys was a close friend of Charles Manson, referring to him as “the wizard.” He even allowed Manson and his family to use his home as a temporary headquarters for their occultic activity. Marilyn Manson said that as a result of listening to Charles Manson’s album Lie, he became enamored with him and it influenced his own persona:
“[This] was the beginning of my identification with Manson. He was a gifted philosopher…But at the same time, his intelligence made him seem eccentric and crazy, because extremes – whether good or bad – don’t fit into society’s definition of normalcy.”
Incredibly, behind prison walls, Charles Manson is, through Marilyn Manson, now influencing millions of young people indirectly. Early on, in Manson’s stage show, he had a pregnant woman simulate an abortion on herself, wrap the little baby in a Nazi flag and present it to a TV set as a human sacrifice. This act is reprehensible and ironic as Manson himself is one of the MTV stars to which parents are now sacrificing their children.
Manson and Nazism
Charles Manson stated that the spirit of Nazism is returning to the youth through popular music. We see this spirit manifesting through Marilyn Manson. Manson stated that his Antichrist Superstar tour, complete with Nazi salutes and red and black banners with a demonically mutated Nazi S, was a “pep rally for the apocalypse.” Nicholas Schreck and other high level initiates in the church of Satan have long pointed out that they are seeking to bring a resurgence of the demonic ideals that were prevalent among the Nazi elite during the times of the holocaust. They look forward to another blood bath wherein a new world order will be established with Satanists acting as masters. In Anton’s book, The Satanic Rituals, LaVey includes a satanic ritual that he claims was practiced by Hitler’s SS. LaVey praised the Nazi’s for their knack for pageantry and evocative music which inspired the masses to succumb to their will. This seems to have been the idea behind Manson’s Antichrist Superstar tour. It would seem strange that after the world has witnessed thousands of documentaries on Nazism and the holocaust that Manson would be able to promote such propaganda on a mass level, but then again it is just what we should expect in a world that has become so jaded! We can see what time it is on God’s prophetic clock when artists like Bob Dylan jeopardize their careers when talking about becoming born again and artists like Manson and Bowie who betray pro Nazi sympathies enhance their own.

Manson sees himself as a vehicle for satanic forces which desire to influence the world. He said that his album, Antichrist Superstar, was given to him via “supernatural inspiration.” He went on to say:

Manson stated that Antichrist Superstar was basically a dress rehearsal for the rise of the antichrist as prophesied in the bible:
“So on this record, I take on the role of the Antichrist. This record is me asserting myself in that position. It is the tale of how things are going to happen in the future. It will scare America, and rightfully so.” –Marilyn Manson, The Black Flame, Volume 6, Numbers 1 & 2
The one who should truly be scared is Manson himself, for when we read how the story ends (see the book of Revelation), we see that it is the Antichrist and all of his deluded followers who lose in the end. While those who know and follow Jesus Christ enjoy eternal life in inexpressible bliss, those who reject Christ are thrown alive into the lake of fire to suffer eternal, conscious, damnation forever and ever! (Revelation 20:10-20) God’s word warns that it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31) The Scriptures declare that even the demons tremble in fear of God. (James 2:19) How much more should you fear the One who has the power to cast your body and soul into hell! (Matthew 10:28) Fall on your knees and beg Christ to forgive your sinful pride before it is too late! One of Satan’s major schemes through occultic organizations is to create an atmosphere of lawlessness and chaos. Crowley taught that it was through this atmosphere that the new age of Antichrist would emerge. The satanic plan to usher in the age of Antichrist is to create an atmosphere of chaos wherein big brother in the form of the Antichrist new world order is solicited by willing slaves to step in and take the reigns of a desperate and deluded world. This was precisely the philosophies of both Charles Manson and David Berkowitz [Son of Sam]. The Crowleyan inspired satanic church, known as The Process, influenced both of these serial killers. Berkowitz, in our new video They Sold Their Souls for Rock n Roll [full length version], admits that the motivation for the Son of Sam murders was to create such a climate to commence the advent of Antichrist. We are able to see this atmosphere of chaos growing as school shootings (much of which was inspired in part by satanic music) and other chaos mounts all around us. Manson is on a mission to help facilitate a climate wherein the man of sin may arise and take the reigns of a society so debauched and desensitized regarding evil, that power will mean everything and truth and righteousness nothing at all. Manson’s music promotes and glorifies the future Antichrist, who is referred to in the book of Daniel as the “little horn”. Manson declares in his song, “Little Horn”:
“Out of the bottomless pit comes the little horn. ‘Little horn is born’…So says the little horn, ‘Save yourself from this’ Everyone will suffer now…’You can’t save yourself…’”
Manson and Aesthetic Terrorism
Marilyn Manson realizes that artists have a tremendous affect on the culture they influence. Manson declared that, “I don’t want to change our style to be accepted by the public, I want the public to change their style.” We have already noted that Manson has described his music as so much “cheese” on a “rat trap” whereby he is seeking to gain the confidence of his fans and then “destroy them.” Manson has also gone on record as to just what his objective is through his music:
“I don’t know if anyone has really understood what we’re trying to do … to lure people in. Once we’ve got ‘em we can give ‘em our message.” –Hit Parader Magazine, October 1996, p. 28
And just what is Manson’s message? Manson’s desire through his music is to alienate his young fan base as far from the one true and living God as possible. Manson admitted that he identifies with,
“the Child Catcher in that story Chitty Citty Bang Bang…because he was a guy whose job was to smell out children, and kidnap them and lock them away…”
Manson states that he has been told that he not only resembles that character, but that he also “became part of my personality.” Like a wolf that desires to separate a lamb from the shepherd, Manson knows that he must separate his fans from God in order to destroy their souls. Manson, like Glenn Benton of Deicide, admits that he relishes the idea of leading even one soul to hell. He states that he is “exhilarated”,
“because there’s nothing like the feeling of knowing you’ve made a difference in someone’s life, even if that difference is a lifetime of nightmares and a fortune in therapy bills.” –Marilyn Manson, The Long Hard Road Our of Hell (ReganBooks/HarperCollins, 1998)
Manson desires to stamp out as much consciousness of God in his impressionable fan base as possible. He unabashedly declared:
“I think every time people listen to this album, maybe God will be destroyed in their head…” (Ibid.)
Manson’s goal was to allow Satan to use his body to destroy Christianity. Manson sees music as Satan’s vehicle, whereby he and other musicians may be able to dupe enough people and eventually totally eradicate Christianity:
“Each age has to have at least one brave individual that tried to bring an end to Christianity. No one has managed to succeed yet, but maybe through music we can do it.” (Ibid., p. 252)
If on one hand Manson’s goal is to turn the masses away from the true and living God, the other is to turn them to Satan:
“Maybe…I can show people that Lucifer isn’t such a bad guy – it’s just that history is written by winners. In the Bible’s case, the winner is God.” –Marilyn Manson, Details Magazine, December 1996
To accomplish this goal, Manson encourages his young impressionable fans to follow Satanism and the Satanic Bible:
“It makes a lot more sense to follow The Satanic Bible…than a book that was written as a companion to a culture long since defunct.” –Marilyn Manson, Spin Magazine, February 1998
One medium through which Manson seeks to destroy the world’s youth is through his concerts, which draw multiple thousands. Manson has admitted:
“The concert is satanic. Just by being in the audience, you are entering my own personal satanic ritual.” –The Black Flame, Volume 6, Numbers 1 & 2
Manson claims of the influence that his concerts have on fans:
“don’t know whether to f— each other or kill each other, and hopefully, the same goes for listening to the record.” (Ibid.)
As part of the satanic army, Manson preys on the young and hurting by exploiting them, taking their money and leading them into Satanism. In one Manson video, a small boy is featured who is having struggles in his elementary school. The little boy is seen then rebelliously shaving his head and then drawn into Manson’s music as the camera pans to the drummer, whose shirt reads, “The Satanic Army”. The video makes it quite obvious that Manson realizes, and even relishes in, his role as a pied piper who is leading the children to destruction, and finally into hell. Manson is in huge trouble, to put it mildly. Jesus Christ warned:
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea…woe to that man…!” –Matthew 18:6-7
Manson & Hatred
Many young people have been severely hurt and wounded by others, whether they be parents, siblings or peers, and Manson, rather than teaching them to overcome their problems through the power of Christ’s love, teaches them to hate love and love hate. At Manson’s concerts, he leads his young impressionable fans in energetic chants like, “WE HATE LOVE, WE LOVE HATE. WE HATE LOVE, WE LOVE HATE…” We document such brainwashing techniques in our video, They Sold Their Souls for Rock ‘n’ Roll. In so doing, Manson is actually alienating his fans further and further from God and family and putting them into a position where they are ultimately filled with hate, rage, hopelessness and despair. Manson teaches his followers the opposite of the two great commandments, which are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Jesus taught us that we are to even go further than loving our neighbors as ourselves and are to love one another as he has loved us and to even love and pray for our enemies, i.e. Marilyn Manson!
Manson & Drugs
Besides a message of hate, Manson also leads his fans in chants that glorify drugs. Manson shouts before his young audiences, “Give me a D. Give me an R. Give me a U. Give me a G. Give me an S. And what does that spell?” To which the crowd roars, “DRUGS!” The Scriptures are quite clear on the issue of drugs, as recreational and hallucinogenic drugs are forbidden as a doorway to possession by demonic forces. The Scriptures are clear that those who practice sorcery or pharmakeia (from which we get our word psychopharmekea) will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21) but will suffer eternal torment in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. (Revelation 21:8 ) The high that comes through drugs and alcohol use are counterfeits, which are employed to fill the vacuum in the human heart that only God can truly fill and satisfy. The Scriptures warn:
The messages that satanic forces promote through Marilyn Manson, like a puppet, are far more than that of hatred and drugs alone. Manson also strongly promotes the unnatural and deviant practice of homosexuality. Manson often dresses like a transvestite and mixes a feminine persona with that of the macabre, appearing like Dracula in drag. Many Satanists seek to promote homosexuality in an attempt to undermine God’s plan for the family. Satanist Aleister Crowley spoke of the family as “Public enemy number one” and also promoted homosexuality among the youth as a way of increasing lawlessness and the break down of the family in the world. In one of Manson’s videos, he shows himself with an Aleister Crowley look alike in a dress, lying with him in various sexual positions. Quite disgusting to say the very least! Manson also has Crowley’s Satanic slogan, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law,” at the beginning of chapter nine of his book, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell. This chapter is entitled, “The Rules”. Manson has stated that he is seeking to erode the traditional moral value that homosexuality is wrong:
“I just wanted to make it less of a taboo. And at the end of the rules, it states that I’ve broken all of them. A lot of people are afraid to address homosexuality, and there’s always so many rumors directed toward me and my sexuality.” –Marilyn Manson, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell (ReganBooks/HarperCollins, 1998)
Rumors aside, Manson’s homosexuality is documented in his own videos. Manson’s technique for brainwashing his fans into accepting homosexuality is very similar to that which Charles Manson employed when manipulating his followers. According to Charles Manson’s prosecuting attorney, Vincent Bugliosi, in his book, Helter Skelter, Charles Manson would perform oral sex “on a young boy to show the others he had rid himself of all inhibitions.” (Bugliosi, Helter Skelter, p. 319) Marilyn Manson also has simulated oral sex on stage in view of his fans with other band members. This disgusting and perverted act was actually video taped and released by Manson on his “Dead to the World” video. One can see how wicked the world system has become when rock stars do such things, not only in private, but also in front of their audiences. We are truly in the end times and lawlessness has increased as prophesied by the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 24:4-13) God’s word declares emphatically:
“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” –Leviticus 18:22
God’s holy word declares in the New Testament:
“Or do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals…will inherit the kingdom of God.” –1 Corinthians 6:9-10
The word of God condemns homosexuality categorically. As we see from the scripture cited above, God incorporates it into a vice list, which includes such sins as murder and adultery. We do not doubt that some people have a tendency toward homosexuality. This is true of murder and adultery as well. Because one has an evil tendency does not elevate it to the status of normalcy. All have sinful tendencies that will damn the soul because all of us have inherited a sinful nature. The truth of the matter is the Lord has given us the ability to overcome sin through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which breaks every satanic chain! The perversions of Satanists like Marilyn Manson have gone a long way in eroding the Judeo Christian ethic in the West, by desensitizing so many people to evil that many states are now considering allowing homosexual marriages. Jesus Christ taught that from the very beginning God instituted marriage between male and female:
“Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’” –Matthew 19:4-5
God has the power to deliver anybody from the sinful bondage of homosexuality if they truly turn their lives over to him for salvation.

Like Crowley, who was notorious for his sadomasochistic behavior (we shall spare the reader of the details), Manson has followed in his footsteps. Along side hatred, drugs and homosexuality, Manson also promotes self-mutilation among his fans. Manson often cuts himself with broken glass before his audiences and screams out after gashing himself as the blood pours down his naked torso. Manson has nearly 500 scars covering his body as a result of ritualistically cutting himself with broken bottles. We have already noted that Manson was first drawn into Satanism as he witnessed a friend’s older brother cutting himself and calling upon the names of demons for power in a satanic ritual. When Manson cuts himself on stage, he states that “I see it as being ritualistic,” and that it is “very old and powerful.” Manson is correct that it is very old, but incorrect when he states that it is very powerful. This is activity that is historically associated with the demon possessed. God’s word says that the false prophets of Baal:
“So they cried with a loud voice and cut themselves according to their custom with swords and lances until the blood gushed out of them.” –1 Kings 18:28
The false prophets of Baal were calling upon their demon gods for assistance. The end result in the historical record is instructive as the power of the demon gods who were invoked through mutilation were no match for the true and living God who rained fire down upon the false prophets and utterly destroyed them. The Scriptures also describe the demoniac of the Gaderenes who had been chained among the tombs to keep society from his violence. The Scriptures reveal the activity of the demoniac at the tombs who was possessed by several evil spirits:
“Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and gashing himself with stones.” –Mark 5:5
At least in Christ day, those who lacked the spiritual power to deal with this man restrained him from the rest of society. Today, parents send their children to see people like Marilyn Manson engage in similar activity, and they are the heroes of the culture of death. The Scriptures warn that if we sow to the wind we will reap the whirlwind, and indeed we are. Several of Manson’s fans, male and female, have mutilated their bodies by cutting Manson’s name into their chest, arms, and other extremities. Sadly, they also carve sayings like, “No salvation” into their arms. In our video expose we show several young ladies who have carved Manson’s name into their bodies.
Manson & Suicide
Besides hate, drugs, homosexuality and self-mutilation, Manson is so wicked and thinks so little of his own fans that he also encourages them to commit suicide. In his video “Dead to the World,” Marilyn Manson repeats the phrase, “You might as well kill yourself, you’re already dead. You might as well kill yourself you’re already dead.” Not long after Manson made his debut, I was called from across the country to help counsel a 13 year-old-girl who suddenly had veered into lesbianism and suicide attempts after becoming obsessed with Manson’s music. I would soon find that this was taking place in several households, as his poison was worked into the fabric of many families. I have seen the carnage Manson has left in his wake with my own eyes! One Marilyn Manson song states:
I bash myself to sleep…
I scar myself you will see…
I throw a little fit
I slit my teenage wrist…
Manson is obviously not referring to himself in this song, but is seeking to influence the teenagers he preys upon. One Marilyn Manson T-shirt that he has marketed to accessible and impressionable fans reads in part:
“Warning, the music of Marilyn Manson contains messages that will kill God in your impressionable teenage mind…And eventually in an act of hopeless rock and roll behavior, you will kill yourself. Please burn your records while there is still hope.”
Sadly, many of those who look up to Marilyn Manson as a god have taken him up on his advice. When responding to the charge that his music influences young children to take their lives, Manson replied:
“If somebody kills themselves because of our music, then that’s one less stupid person in the world…Raise your kids better or I’ll be raising them for you.” –Marilyn Manson, RIP Magazine, February 1995
Manson & Murder
Marilyn Manson sought to justify the murders committed by Charles Manson by declaring that they were not really “wrong” because when “Charles Manson killed people, he at least believed in it – that he had a reason for it.” Does the fact that Hitler believed in murdering millions of Jews mean it was not wrong because he believed in it? Of course not! But Manson banks on the idea that his fans are so unsophisticated that they cannot see through such nonsense. We believe that many of his fans are seeing through his rhetoric and turning from his lies. Manson seems to have viewed the sacrificial killing of his own child as a pivotal point of depravity necessary for the success of his album Antichrist Superstar, which was released soon after the murder. Under the heading, “CIRCLE NINE – TREACHERY – TRAITORS TO KIN”, in his book, The Long Hard Road out of Hell, Manson describes the traitorous treachery of his own wicked heart as he took his little baby to be butchered. The heading, “Traitors to Kin” is in reference to the lowest place in hell in Dante’s Inferno, reserved for the most wicked of traitors and betrayers like the apostate apostle Judas Iscariot. Manson admits that a desire to murder has course through his veins. He speaks of how, “taking someone’s life seemed like a necessary growing and learning experience.” After taking his girlfriend to the abortion clinic he confessed:
“I sat in the women’s clinic waiting room, imagining what was going on just three rooms away as the doctors put a rod the size of a matchstick, with two tiny thread-like strands jutting from the top, up into Missi’s cervix, causing it to dilate before tearing out the brain OF OUR CHILD with a pair of forceps…Missi had been scared about this abortion—she was well into her second trimester…At the same time I couldn’t keep a twisted, degenerated thought from crossing my mind. I wondered if she could talk to the doctor about keeping the aborted fetus.” –Marilyn Manson, The Long Hard Road out of Hell (ReganBooks/HarperCollins, 1998), pp. 240-242
Manson also seems to encourage his fans to murder their parents who would seek to save their children from Manson’s insidious influences:

In fact, Manson’s T-shirt that warns that his music could influence young people to commit suicide also warns, “You could be convinced to kill your mom and dad.”
Manson and Witchcraft
Besides hate, drugs, self-mutilation, suicide and murder, Manson also encourages his fans to practice Satanism. Manson claimed that one thing he felt he had in common with Anton LaVey was that they both had successfully placed curses on people. Manson laces his songs with satanic imagery and spells like the following:
Prick your finger, it is done
The moon has now eclipsed the sun
The angel has spread his wings
The time has come for better things
Manson’s music contains very little original thought and merely repeats strains so familiar to Satanism. In one song Manson refers to Crowley’s satanic temple wherein he molested children in his so-called sex magick practices, the Abbey of Thelema.
Manson – the False and Counterfeit God
Marilyn Manson isn’t even original, but is a follower who has followed the teachings of Satanists like Crowley, LaVey and Charles Manson. Alice Cooper quipped that Manson’s idea of being a shock rocker and taking a woman’s name is merely what he did in the 1970’s. Cooper quipped:
“A guy with a girls name and make-up and does theatrics. I wonder where I’ve seen that before.”
Manson himself was forced to admit that he is not really original but that, “It’s a reinvention of a kind.” Satan has simply used Manson as a puppet to bring it to another level of depravity. Marilynn Manson also has claimed that he is God:
“I believe I am God… I dreamt I was the Antichrist, and I believe it.” (Ibid.)
Marilyn Manson is not even original in this boast, as he has fallen prey to the age-old lie that man can become God. Lucifer himself desired to be God and was cast out of heaven for his arrogance. (Isaiah 14:9-12) Satan deceived the first humans through this same lie. (Genesis 3:1-6) The Antichrist himself will promote this lie as he takes his seat in the temple of God demanding worships as God. (2 Thess 2:1-12) Adolf Hitler, Charles Manson, Jim Jones and David Koresh all claimed to be gods and all left piles of mutilated bodies in the wake of their self-deification. Sadly, this is the legacy that Manson is leaving the world as well. Sadly like those who followed Hitler and Jim Jones, Manson’s followers have been deluded by the same lie. Manson, echoing Satan’s aspiration to be God, declared:
“What happens if more people own my record than the Bible? Will that make me God because more people believe in me than him? Because it’s just about popularity. There are plenty of people in the world who have never heard of Jesus, while in America he’s taken for granted. The key to changing the way people think is to change what’s popular. That’s why rather than submit to the mainstream, you have to become it…” (Ibid.)
In short, like Judas of old, it would have been better for Marilyn Manson that he had never been born, than to suffer the eternal punishment that is reserved for him for leading so many people to destruction. Sadly, one of the many who Manson nearly led to suicide and murder was young Cassie Bernall, who ironically escaped the jaws of death only to be gunned down by two Manson fans at Columbine High School. In my Interview with Brad Bernall, he speaks of how real Manson’s words became, “Raise your children better or I’ll be raising them for you.” Brad told me that his daughter was plotting to kill both him and his wife, Misty. She had even drawn headstones with their names upon them. Brad declared that Cassie had given her soul to Satan. They had found a spell that one of her friends introduced her to which was actually the one just quoted above found in Manson’s music. Brad was a Sunday school teacher and was horrified by the revelations as to the sudden turn his daughter had taken. Both Brad and Misty discovered that much of the problem was that Cassie had immersed herself in the music of Marilyn Manson and others. In my interview with Brad Bernall (which is in our full length video They Sold Their Souls for Rock n Roll), Mr. Bernall stated that when Marilyn Manson said, “Raise your kids better or I’ll be raising them for you.” He meant it. With tough love, Brad and Misty separated Cassie from her destructive music and in time, as Christian influences were brought back into her life, she turned her life over to Christ. Praise God!!!!!!! Sadly, both Klebold and Harris, who later would murder Cassie, were also reported to have been into Marilyn Manson. Brad was able to watch the videos, both Klebold and Harris made before the murders, and stated that the main thing they talked about was killing Christians. In fact, eight of the twelve students they murdered were high profile Christians on campus. The same media, which promotes Marilyn Manson, covered this up. What Satan has meant for evil, God has already turned to tremendous good as countless young people, as well as adults, have come to Christ as a result of Cassie,s martyrdom. Klebold and Harris sought to get Cassie to deny Christ, but she said “yes” to Jesus before they pulled the trigger on the shotgun. They would later turn those same shotguns on themselves. The difference being Cassie went straight to heaven as a hero, and they went straight to hell. Manson’s warning that he will raise your children if you don’t proved true in Cassie’s case for a while, until her parents stepped in and by the grace of God rescued her. Sadly, both Klebold and Harris’ parents did not step in soon enough to rescue their children. Let this be a lesson to all of us, whether we are parents or children. Manson’s warning that his music can inspire both murder and suicide is no idle threat, for there are caskets with several young cold bodies in them to prove his point. Like Marilyn Manson, Klebold and Harris had a penchant for fascism, particularly of thew nazi stripe. May God help us to rid our lives of such diabolical influences before such influences destroy them. You may say, “Well I am into Marilyn Manson, and I am not yet suicidal.” Dear friend, Marilyn Manson does not have to kill you to destroy you. Satan’s main objective is to keep you from Jesus Christ, and if he can do that, he can keep you from being saved from hell, and that is his ultimate goal!
“It’s All Just an Act”
To those who are under the pernicious delusion that Marilyn Manson is just an act, they should be aware that Manson lived the lifestyle he promotes long before he ever took it to the stage. We have already observed that Manson is a member of the church of Satan and that his Satanism was a reality long before he became a rock performer. Manson was given over to a wicked lifestyle long before he became a shock rocker. Manson admitted:
“Around the time of the Gainesville [University of Florida] murders, when eight college students were stabbed, I took a bunch of photos of Missi [his girlfriend] lying naked covered in blood, as if she had been brutally butchered. We left our gory photographs in restaurants, on buses where people could find them and do whatever their consciences dictated.” (Ibid.)
The above quote is merely representative of many other wicked acts that go far to define Manson’s character before he made it big. I will spare the reader the gory details. As one who has studied the occult for twenty years, let me assure you that Manson is up to his ears in Satanism. For the sake of argument, though, let us suppose that Manson is not a real Satanist. Whether it is an act or not makes little difference as to how many children and families he is destroying. When the net result is tallied, the same amount of people are still being adversely influenced by his music. For example, if Budweiser was to come out tomorrow and say, “It was all just an act. We don’t really believe in the beer we promote”, it would not change the fact that their advertisements have gone a long way in promoting their products. In the same way, Mansonites who claim that it’s only an act are twice deluded. First, as we have proven, it is more than an act! Second, he is still promoting hate, drugs, homosexuality, self-mutilation, suicide, murder, blasphemy, witchcraft and Satanism! Satan is not standing by thinking, “Who is this guy Marilyn Manson? He’s sure doing a great job promoting my kingdom and populating hell. But I have nothing to do with him and he is doing such a great job, wow this is great!” Such an idea is utterly preposterous, to say the least! If a child molester claims that his sexual perversions with children are only an act, he is still a child molester nonetheless. If Marilyn Manson claims his promotion of drugs, suicide and Satanism are only an act, it is still promotion of drugs, Satanism and suicide nonetheless!
Ironically, Manson has deceived his fans by telling them that they need to be different and not conform to the mainstream, when in reality they end up being conformed in one way or another to his image. They are in fact the ultimate conformists! In so conforming, they lose their so-called independence in the worst of ways. In fact, Marilyn Manson is far more accepted in the mainstream than is Jesus Christ, who is either ridiculed or ignored in popular culture. Jesus was crucified by the mainstream, and Manson is celebrated by the mainstream, including MTV. So all of Manson’s bogus posturing as being a rebel against the mainstream is so much non-sense! Manson’s followers, therefore, have become conformists who are followers of the mainstream. God’s word warns us not to be conformed to the mainstream:
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” –Romans 12:1-2
It’s easy to go with the flow, as dead fish float downstream. Jesus said it was those who were of the mainstream or the broad road that are headed for hell:
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” –Matthew 7:13-15
Friend, if you are into Marilyn Manson and he attracted you because he was different, he truly is not. He is a small part of Satan’s plan to cause as many as possible to turn from eternal life and the one true God. If you want someone who is different, turn to Jesus. He is the ultimate non-conformist of all time! He is the one who created you! He is the one who went to the cross so you wouldn’t have to go to hell because of your sin. In His great love, He died to save you! If you choose someone who hates you, like Marilyn Manson and Satan, over the one who loves you and suffered the wrath of God for you, I can only say that YOU WILL HAVE NO EXCUSE ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT! What a shame it will be if your eternal legacy is that you chose Marilyn Manson over Jesus Christ. How pathetic! I say this as one who has been brought back from the dead. I too was lost in satanic music and worshipped my rock idols as gods. I had plunged headlong into the occult and acquired satanic powers. So deep did I go that I experienced contact with demonic beings. The bondage I was under was unbelievable. It did not take too long to realize that these demonic beings did not only want to use me to their insidious ends, but that they were out to destroy me like every other puppet they seek to use. By God’s incredible grace, His love broke through, and I turned from my rock ‘n’ roll to the Rock of Ages, the Lord Jesus Christ. I passed from spiritual death to spiritual life as God in His mercy revealed Himself to me. Now God is using me to reach you, even as he desires to save you and use you to reach others.
My hope and prayer is that you receive the love of the truth before it is too late. Today, several former members of the Manson family live ebb away in prison, as they lament in profound bitterness that Charles Manson was able to deceive them with his music and demonic charm. What an incredible picture of what will take place to Marilyn Manson fans who refuse to repent of following him. Like the former followers of Charles Manson, they will sadly, one day, lament that Marilyn Manson was able to deceive them and lead them into the eternal prison of hell from which there is no escape. God’s word describes Hell as a place of torment wherein one thirst is never quenched. A place of outer darkness wherein the wicked are tormented in unquenchable fire, and they have no rest day and night forever and ever. Friend, it is not too late if you are reading this article. Turn from Marilyn Manson, who is one of Satan’s agents to bring about your eternal damnation. God has allowed you to read this article in the hope that you will turn before it is too late. If you refuse to turn, this article may well be brought before you everyday as your conscience reminds you that God gave you ample opportunity to turn, and you would not! Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who died a horrible death in your place so He could give you eternal life. The smart choice for an intelligent person is obvious; turn from Satan, Manson and Hell to the Lord Jesus Christ and eternal life.
Even Marilyn Manson himself admitted, concerning Jesus, “A long time ago, there was a man” who was “misunderstood” and “they nailed him to a [expletive] cross.” Friend you have misunderstood Jesus if you have been taught that He wants you to be in bondage. Jesus sets free from the bondage of Satanism and sin! Jesus declared:
“and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed!” –John 8:32,36
Manson will lead you to hell and eternal unending regret that you were so blind to allow him to lead you by the nose. Manson laughs at you, as Jesus Christ weeps over you. Manson said that it was his role to “cleanse the world of all its sins.” Another lie! Manson realizes that he is a mere counterfeit and has a messiah complex. He wishes he could be like Christ, who alone died for the sins of the world, but knows he isn’t even close. Since he cannot, he merely imitates other false wannabe messiahs, like Charles Manson and company.
Satan is, as Jesus revealed, “the father of lies.” Susan Atkins found out (almost after it was too late to repent) that when Satan is done with you he does not reward you, but discards you as trash. To quote Atkins’ own graphic words from one of my prison interviews with her:
“When the Devil’s done using you, he spits you out like so much vomit as food for the flies.” –Personal interview with Susan Atkins
Atkins spent a few years in prison before the truth was revealed to her. She said, “The last person on my list was Jesus Christ.” But after a series of encounters with the living Christ, she was finally able to see what she did was a horrible sin before a thrice Holy God and that she was accountable for it and heading straight for hell. This finally led her to deep remorse, as she was made conscious of the depths of her depravity. Susan declared:
“God showed me how high and wide and deep my sin was, and no matter what I did, I could not escape it. I started taking showers three and four times a day to clean my sin away, until my body became sore and raw. God revealed to me, ‘No matter how much you try to clean the outside, it will never make you clean on the inside.’ I was convicted of eight counts of murder and could not get clean. And then God showed me, ‘No matter how much you clean the outside, you will never be able to make it as clean as I can make the inside through the cleansing power of my Son’s blood, who died for your sins.’ I fell on my knees and cried out to God on September 27, 1974. If God can save me, God can save anybody. Nobody is beyond redemption.”
Atkins is echoing the sentiments of the apostle Paul, who made a living at having Christians killed before he encountered Christ on the road to Damascus. Paul described himself as the “chief of sinners” and pointed out that the reason that God saved him was to show that He could save anybody, including you, who comes to Him through Jesus Christ:
“Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.” (Timothy 1:13-16)
Susan Atkins’ conversion to Jesus Christ, along with that of Charles Tex Watson, another of the most notorious of the Manson followers, is further proof that God is in the business of saving the most depraved among us as trophies of His grace. They have seen the light and acknowledged that there is no contest between Charles Manson and Jesus Christ. Jesus could wipe out Charles Manson with a mere glance if He so desired. God has also been saving countless former fans of Marilyn Manson and making them trophies of His grace as well. This is what He desires to do with you! He declares that he is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9), but wills that all people would come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:4-5). He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they would turn from their wickedness and have life (Ezekiel 33:11). In His incomparable and magnificent love, Jesus tasted death for everyone, and that “everyone” includes you! (Hebrews 2:9) In an effort to keep you from being saved, Satan would like you to believe that Jesus will not save you and that you are too bad. This is a lie! Remember, Jesus exposed Satan as a liar and the father of lies! Jesus said he would not cast away any that would come to Him (John 6:37). Once again, if you come to Him, that precious promise would include you! STOP LETTING SATAN DECEIVE YOU. If you end up in hell while the chief of sinners gets saved, it will be because in your stubbornness you refused God’s kindness, which was meant to bring you to repentance (Romans 2:4-11).
The reality is that all will face God on the soon coming day of judgement, and if your name is not found written in Christ’s book of life, you will spend eternity frying in the lake of fire. The book of Revelation declares:
“And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” –Revelation 20:10-15
The stunning reality for the Satanist and all those who refuse to follow Christ is that they will still, in the end, be forced to bow down to the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him as master, even if it is in Hell. The Scriptures teach that Adolf Hitler, Marilyn Manson, Anton LaVey, Friedrich Nietzche, Aleister Crowley and even Satan himself will end up bowing down in worship of Jesus Christ:
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” –Philippians 2:9-11
You have the prerogative to bow now or bow later but you will surely bow!!!I choose to bow now that I may reign with my Lord Jesus Christ forever in the New Jerusalem and there in eternal bliss give Him the glory He so much deserves! (Revelation 21-22)
Why don’t you turn from your sin right now and cry out to God to save you through the gospel of Jesus Christ. His word declares that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved! (Romans 10:13) Ask the Lord to cleanse you from all of your sins and He will! Continue to build your relationship with Him through prayer and the serious reading of His holy word, the bible. Find a bible teaching church that proclaims that Jesus Christ is God and that God’s Grace alone through faith alone saves us. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Look for a church where it is evident that people love God and each other. Remember, you will not find a perfect church because they are made up of people like you and me who are not perfect, but are being perfected by the Lord’s word and His Holy Spirit. Make sure you look for a group of Christians, which emphasizes living for Jesus and separation from the evil of this world system!
In closing, I would like to encourage you with a couple pieces of advice that we would actually agree with from Marilyn Manson. Manson has stated that you should, “burn your records while there is still hope.” The bible declares that the early Christians did just this with the demonic books that they read before they were saved. Notice that the fact that such books were expensive did not deter them from putting Christ first in their lives:
“A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand pieces of silver.” –Acts 19:19
In seeking to be environmentally safe, it would be better with CD’s to simply take a hammer to them. It would be wise to get all your music together which does not glorify God, but rather glorifies hate, drugs, alcohol, crime, self-mutilation, suicide, murder, bestiality, witchcraft, Satanism, etc and destroy it all! Our main concern is that your heart and mind is environmentally safe from the wicked and perverse corruption of the evil one! Do not give your music away or sell it. That would be like giving away poison or selling drugs. That would not be loving your neighbor as yourself. Simply say a prayer and lose the poison. You will be grateful that the ball and chain that has held you bound has been cut off, and you will find unspeakable joy in your new relationship with Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. One last warning, since you have turned to Jesus Christ, the enemy will seek to win you back to himself. If you read Jesus’ parable of the sower, you will see the tactics he will use to tempt and discourage you. (Luke 8:4-14) It is those who hold on to His Word and endure to the end in their faith who are saved in the end. (Hebrews 3:12-14) Stick to Jesus and know that God will turn the hardships you encounter into gold, as you endure in the truth. Know this, the war has already been won on the cross where the Lord Jesus defeated the enemy. We are simply in the battles. Be encouraged, for the Scripture promises us that greater is God who is in us than Satan who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) We are declared to be more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37) And it is stated that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
