At the 2014 Grammy’s, like a snake shedding its skin, Katy Perry shed her bright, colorful, bubble gum image – that she’d so carefully honed to seduce countless innocent children – to publicly reveal the dark, witchy woman she has been successfully hiding for years. E! Online tweeted, "Um, did we just witness actual witchcraft during Katy Perry’s ‪#Grammys performance?"

Perry, who had earlier promoted lesbianism in her song “I Kissed a Girl,” could not have chosen a more appropriate time to reveal her witchy self, as the Grammy’s were used to heavily propagate gay marriage on the masses. Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Madonna and Mary Lambert performed the gay anthem, "Same Love," while Queen Latifa wed 33 couples, many of which were homosexual. Latifa was recently deputized by Los Angeles County to legally conduct wedding ceremonies.

The intolerant and bigoted anti-Christ lyrics in the song “Same Love” reveal to us just how far the United States has traveled down the cesspool of depravity. They further reveal how Satan is using the entertainment industry to shove his diabolical agenda down our throats. It seems that the only “free speech” that is tolerable anymore is that which belongs to Hollywood, the music industry and the mainstream media. The gay anthem “Same Sex” is a blatant attack on Christianity:

For those that liked the same sex
Had the characteristics
The right wing conservatives think it’s a decision
…
But we paraphrase a book written thirty-five-hundred years ago
…
Gay is synonymous with the lesser
It’s the same hate that’s caused wars from religion
…
When I was at church they taught me something else
If you preach hate at the service those words aren’t anointed

Underneath it’s all the same love
About time that we raised up… sex

God himself calls homosexual behavior an abomination, “Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination” (Leviticus 18:22). If you agree with the Lord and believe that it’s wrong to choose a homosexual lifestyle, and that one can abstain from doing so, you are the new evil. God Himself warns us of those who would call evil good and good evil and He will certainly have the last word in this debate:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20)

Before Katy Perry’s performance, she revealed to Ryan Seacrest of E! Entertainment Television that her upcoming performance would be witchy and that it was somewhat “inspired" by Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks. According to Rolling Stone, Nicks recently spent three hours talking to Perry in London.

Years ago, Rolling Stone called Stevie Nicks, who often dressed like a witch on stage, the “blond priestess of the occult” (Source).

Nick’s tour book for her “Wild Hearts” tour stated that she is into “witches and magic wands.” Stevie Nicks not only glorified witchcraft in songs like “Rhiannon,” which she introduced as "a song about a Welsh witch," but her music is copyrighted under the name “Welsh Witch Music.” Keeping up with her witchy persona, Nicks played a witch in an episode of American Horror Story: Coven and sang her song Rhiannon for the episode. Nicks has described the creepy, spiritual forces that were at work when performing on stage with her band Fleetwood Mac:

“It’s amazing, ’cause sometimes when we’re on stage, I feel like somebody’s just moving the pieces…. I’m just going, ‘God, we don’t have any control over this.’ And that’s magic” (Circus, April 14, 1971).

Katy Perry told Seacrest, just before her witchy performance of Dark Horse, "Let’s just say, one of my favorite lines is: ‘Which witch is which?’" She further revealed of her upcoming Grammy performance "It’s very spooky. It’s very dark." (Source)

Perry wasn’t kidding when she said it would be “very dark,” as she began her performance as a witch, singing within a crystal ball. She soon emerged from the crystal ball dancing with grotesque demons adorned with devil horns. Perry even had a Knights Templar cross emblazoned across her torso. Perry next turned to pole dancing on a wooden witches broom. She consummated her ode to Satan by standing amidst a raging fire conjuring up images of the damned. When E! Online tweeted the question, "Um, did we just witness actual witchcraft during Katy Perry’s ‪#Grammys performance?" it should be kept in mind that many performers engage in Satanism and witchcraft in an effort to summon and utilize demonic powers to ensnare their followers.

Like Satan, who first appears as an angel of light, only to reveal his true colors later, Perry first came on the scene feigning innocence to her young and impressionable fans and their parents.

Most people aren’t aware that Katy Perry’s first album was a “Christian album” ironically entitled “Keep the Faith.” However, Katy’s desire to be worshipped by the masses and be her own god transcended any earlier desire she may have had to bring glory to the one true God and to keep the faith.

Perry claimed in an interview that it was her goal to make it big as a Christian artist, but it didn’t work out. So she admitted at this point she decided to sell her soul to Satan:

“When I was 15, because I grew up in a household where all I ever did was listen to gospel music…. I swear I wanted to be, like, the Amy Grant of music, but it didn’t work out, and so I sold my soul to the devil.”

Her first big hit after selling her soul was “I Kissed a Girl.” Later her own father would break down in tears over her choice to serve Satan.  He would later acknowledge, as she did earlier, that Perry is doing Satan’s work, exclaiming, “My girl Katy Perry is a devil child.” He further acknowledged:

“I was at a concert of Katy’s where there were 20,000. I’m watching this generation, and they were going at it. It was almost like church,” Keith said. “I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They’re loving and worshipping the wrong thing.” (Source)

We also read in a more recent interview with Marie Claire Magazine about how she has abandoned the Christian faith and embraced occultism:

“Perry has left behind her born-again past and finds spirituality through the writing of Eckhart Tolle (The Power of Now influenced the song "This Moment"); practicing Transcendental Meditation ("the best thing I got out of my previous relationship, because it was introduced to me via my ex-husband"); and therapy. "I don’t believe in a heaven or a hell or an old man sitting on a throne.” (Source)

Since Perry appears to want to be her own god and be worshipped as a god, her love for the occult teachings of Echart Tolle are par for the course. Tolle is a neo-gnostic medium who channels demonic forces and teaches Satan’s lie that we can realize our own inner divinity through occult knowledge.

While many believe Perry is revealing her true colors for the first time, the fact is she has been unveiling the darkness layer by layer for some time. In her song “E.T.” she sings about having sexual relations with a demonic entity, which appears to be the devil himself. The video for the song drudges up images of Eve falling for Satan, who opens her eyes to good and evil:

You’re so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil?
Could you be an angel?…
You’re from a whole ‘nother world
A different dimension
You open my eye…
Fill me with your poison…
Your touch so foreign
It’s supernatural
Extraterrestrial…

This is significant because Satanist Aleister Crowley’s emphasis of sex magick for the religion of Antichrist is all about involving E.T’s and demons into sexual encounters.

Perry’s music is being used to indoctrinate her young fans into occultism, Gnosticism, witchcraft and sexual perversion. Perry’s glorification of witchcraft will just throw more gas on the fire that is already raging in the occult revival we document in our article Twilight, Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz and the Wiccan Revival.

Many of those who are associated with witchcraft seek to gain recruits by claiming that it is innocent and has nothing to do with the satanic forces of darkness. Satan often dresses up occultism and witchcraft in a veil of light in his effort to deceive those who would never otherwise deal with the devil. The reality is that whether one claims to be engaged in either “white” or “black” magic, the source for all occult power is Satan and the demonic realm. Satan’s end game is always the same: deception and destruction. God’s Word warns us:

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)

Satanist, Anton LaVey, who founded the Church of Satan, admitted in his “Satanic Bible" that there is no real difference between “white” and “black” magic, stating:

"White magic is supposedly utilized only for good or unselfish purposes, and black magic, we are told, is used only for selfish or evil reasons. Satanism draws no such dividing line. … There is no difference between ‘white’ and ‘black’ magic, except in the smug hypocrisy, guilt-ridden righteousness and self-deceit of the "white" magician himself" (Anton LaVey, The Satanic Bible, New York: Avon Books, 1971, p. 110).

Even Wiccan leaders have admitted that there is no difference between white and black magic. A Wiccan leader known as Starling, admitted:

“This might actually offend some, but it hides one of the great truths of witchcraft, that there is not white or black magick, there is only magick…” (Starling, message #1420, November 22, 2001,

Doreen Valiente, the Wiccan high priestess that has had more influence on Wicca than any other woman, admitted:

“The distinction between black and white magic has no validity” (Doreen Valiente, An ABC of Witchcraft, New York: St. Martins Press, 1973, p. 271).

Even the Wiccan Rede (aka “counsel” or "advice"), “An’ Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will” was borrowed by Gerald Garner who developed modern Wicca and was a member of Satanist Aleister Crowley’s O.T.O. Gardner imported much of Crowley’s ceremonial magick into Wicca and borrowed from Crowley’s maxim, “Do What Thou Wilt Shall be the Whole of the Law.”

God condemns witchcraft throughout the scripture because it is counterfeit power used by Satan to dupe and destroy the masses:

“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God” (Deuteronomy 18:10-13).

It was fitting for Katy Perry to end her performance with a consuming fire, as the Lord God makes it clear that all those who give themselves over to the dark forces, including “witchcraft” are going to the lake of fire:

"But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars–their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death" (Revelation 21:8).

Professing Christian artist Natalie Grant, who sang for Jesus at the Grammy’s and had been nominated for two Grammy awards, left the Grammy’s early and was viciously attacked by many in the homosexual community for not staying to support the gay weddings. Grant’s statement on her Facebook read:

“We left the Grammy’s early. I’ve many thoughts about the show tonight, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I’ll say this: I’ve never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I’ve never been more sure of the path I’ve chosen.” (Natalie Grant via Facebook)

After being attacked for not doing what was deemed politically correct and leaving early, Grant posted a follow up to her earlier post, which said in part:

“What I DID say is this: I am honored to be a part of the Christian music community. I’ve had many people throughout my career ask why I never tried to go in to mainstream music and last night was a beautiful reminder that I love singing about Jesus and FOR Jesus… My last thought: ‘I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus for it is the power of God who brings salvation to ALL who believe.’ Romans 1:16” (Natalie Grant via Facebook)

What a contrast Natalie Grant is with Katy Perry who, rather than remain true to her faith, admitted selling her soul to Satan for worldly success. Natalie left the Grammy’s early because of her professed love for Jesus and Katy supported the venue because of her professed service to Satan and love for darkness.

While I’m not very familiar with Natalie Grant or her music, I’m praying that she keeps the faith and remains true to her biblical convictions. I’m also praying for Katy Perry’s repentance, as she is leading millions of young people astray and is in far more trouble than she can possibly fathom. Let us also pray for those who are caught up in sexual and occult bondage. We have an awesome Savior who has all power and has already saved millions from the occult and sexual perversion:

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
