Let me begin my stating that a year ago, I would have attempted to tear your arguments to shreds (and likely failed miserably!)…
Recently, God has been doing some major tune-up work on me, revealing things all over the place. One of these is that Christians have simply compromised too much. The world dishes it out, and we simply take it. God has called us to be leaders, cities on hills, lights of the world, salt to the Earth. He has not called us to be compromising; He’s called us to CHANGE the world, and to change it for His purpose and plan. He has not called us to shrink in face of adversity, but to remain upright even when the odds are 2-1. And in spiritual matters, the odds will always be 2-1 against you. I looked at the world, and became sickened by the compromise we’ve done. A little here, a little there. And then, I looked into my own life, and was REALLY sick. I realized all the compromises I made. Little ones led to medium ones, and medium ones led to large ones. And eventually, it turned into a big domino effect that would have ruined my spiritual walk, if God had not had his fist around my heart.
One of these things (and a big thing for me, as I’m extremely musical and play a lot of songs), was music. God revealed that music is the one medium that is the easiest to propagate Satan’s lies through. Music is not only everywhere we go, it’s also accessible by all ages, all genders, and is seen as a neutral entity. Perfect for Satan to get hold of and use for his purpose. However, even though this was revealed, I had no verses to back up what I was seeing.
Thanks for your site! It gives me the biblical backing I need to declare music as satanic when I see it (anything that Christ has not blessed, Satan has). I hope to see it updated more in the future, especially with more artist exposes. As I’m a mere college student and cannot afford to give financial support, I’ll be praying for the success of your ministry and my own, that we may start a new revival of Christianity, one that does not compromise and holds firm to the truths Jesus knew and spoke while on Earth. I pray that any adversity to your ministry would be struck down immediately, for both now and the future. And I pray that God gives you and your staff the strength you need to accomplish this.
